The remoteServer module integrates seamlessly with SimplEPOS to provide access to core back office functions through a remote PC's web-browser (additionally, remoteServer also provides various powerful functions for use on handheld PDT's on the store's wireless network).

remoteServer is an ideal way to access the store system from a home office or while on the move. No longer do jobs such as receiving on stock, generating reports, doing stock checks and generating orders need to be done "in the back room". remoteServer gives you the freedom to work from a remote location with live, real-time access to your data.

remoteServer provides a web-based interface compatible with any PC or laptop with a capable web browser. A hierarchical menu structure mimics that of SimplEPOS meaning that functions are located in the same place in the web interface...

By using standard HTML forms remoteServer allows data to be input using standard controls such as writable fields, drop down lists and checkboxes (everything that a user would be familiar with from general web browsing):
